Musings from the Backyard

I just picked some delicious raspberries from the yard, put them in some raspberry yogurt and enjoyed the scrumptious delight. It was good!

Moments ago I saw a bloom that no human being ever set eyes on. It is a beautiful daylily.

We have an abundance of toads this year. The leopard frog tadpoles are growing in the pond. There have been two sightings of box turtles now.

This has been a good summer already! Oh yes and today's temperature here in the heart of Long Island's South Shore will only be 71! Oh what a wonderful day!
