For the best fertilizer you can get take one part horse manure and add 10 part water. Cover and let it brew for a week or more. Scoop out the mixture from the top so as to not pick up undigested seeds. Add to the base (without touching the plant itself) of your tomatoes and Daylilies and watch them grow! I try to give them a shot before the rain comes.
