This blog is built around the theme of my literal backyard but goes beyond the fence and all around the world and into space and eternity which God has placed in the hearts of men.
Yesterday I dug into the leaf mulch pile to spread the compost in the front beds. From the place of death and decay arose a fragrance of life. I learned a long time ago that leaf mulch is better than any fertilizer you can buy! The aroma was what I look forward to each spring. The season has begun!

I don't like to talk about myself that much. Since a picture is worth a thousand words it would be best browse through the backyard (as well as the other blogs on China and Israel and Long Island and the Sunday Morning messages from our church). Enjoy your walk!
