This blog is built around the theme of my literal backyard but goes beyond the fence and all around the world and into space and eternity which God has placed in the hearts of men.
Since I was a young boy I remember Billy Graham preaching the gospel. It was a privilege to meet this servant of God back 17 years ago. What an example he has been and is for us younger ministers.

I don't like to talk about myself that much. Since a picture is worth a thousand words it would be best browse through the backyard (as well as the other blogs on China and Israel and Long Island and the Sunday Morning messages from our church). Enjoy your walk!

John- I remember going to hear Billy Graham preach in Madison Square Garden in 1968 and then in 1970 at Shea Stadium. Then we got to work together in the 1990 Long Island Crusade. What a privilege! What a journey!
