Saturday Morning

Its Saturday! It is 28 now but bright sunshine and going up to 52 (which if based on yesterday's prediction by weather.com we could hit near 60). Anyway I probably will be the only one but later this morning I officially begin my spring cleanup outside! I woke up early thinking about specific things I am going to do. Moe just came up to get me to let him out. The birds need to be fed so as Jackie Gleason used to say, " A little traveling music please...And away we go!...."

P.S. Isn't it funny how the stuff we used to balk at when we were kids, the foods we used to eat under protest, going to bed at a decent hour, etc. as we get older, we love?

8:15am- I ended up staying out there with Moe, got a rake out and started cleaning up around the azalea. The sun is bright.

The birds are almost becoming domesticated back there. They waited very close (a few branches away) as I filled one of the the feeders. I have become a friend of the fish and fowl! Why not?! I feed them!

The virtual backyard is fun but there is nothing like the literal backyard !

It is beautiful out there- I love these early spring mornings!

10:07- I'm back in from going out again. Got a lot done. It feels so good to get out there and work! Already up to 47 and now the high has been revised to 54- I say we will hit 60 today. The Groundhog rocks!
