Larry's Backyard
This blog is built around the theme of my literal backyard but goes beyond the fence and all around the world and into space and eternity which God has placed in the hearts of men.

Each Spring for some time now we have some uninvited guests have shown up. Today they were out front. We would love them to stay but they would destroy all the vegetation around the pond and just can't have that!

Predawn Tulips
Its pretty interesting how God made these spring beauties. He fashioned them so that they will close up at night and when it rains. The tulips form a cup and if left open during the rain they would fill up and fall over, thus destroying the plant and the flower. The LORD saw to it that this wouldn't happen. Below are tulips as few people see them!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

Walking in the Garden
I just came in from a little walk through my backyard. It is really all paths now With beds on the sides of the paths. I love going out, listening to the birds sing, seeing what has growing and just seeing God's handiwork. It renews my spirit.

Cross Country and Track Reunion
Over the past 24 hours we went back to the early 70's. My teammates gathered here at my home on the eve of the Second Annual Paul Limmer Invitational in honor of our coach. What a beautiful day for the track meet. It was so good being with the guys I spent most of the hours of my high school years. God bless you all! You made my heart lighter the past few hours!
I put a little clip of our coach telling one of his stories at the end of this post.
