Walking Into Spring

There is something simply wonderful about a walk through my backyard at this time of the year. To see the earth blossoming, the birds singing and signs of new growth all around is all inspiring. To think that my Father in Heaven created all this is beyond words!

Easter Egg Wisdom

I remember one year there was a slight panic at our home in Bellmore. My folks always coulnted the eggs before they hid them so to avoid this problem... there was one egg unaccounted for! They told us to find it. When we couldn't Dad and Mom helped. We searched and then finally when we were almost going to be late for church they located it. I'll never forget that Easter Egg Hunt... my girls are smart- we do it outside now!

There is nothing like the first day of work outside in the yard, raking up leaves, uncovering growth and smelling fresh compost while being serenaded by song birds in the trees!
