Yes It Is On The Way!

This morning, in 18 degree weather, there were signs of spring. Not only have the crocuses begun to pop up so have the faithful Primroses!  Spring is on the way folks of the northeast! It won't be long!

The Long Winter

We are now in the dead of winter here in Northern Hemisphere. It is the coldest time of the whole year when we are smack dab in the middle of the end of the life cycle. There is little sign of life in our yards. Everything seems brown and lifeless. We wonder if spring will ever come.

I have good news! Out in my backyard (I just ran out to verify this), crocus have popped up! No buds yet but they are popping up through the hardened soil!!! These first bloomers usher in warmer weather, and a host of colors to follow. 

Spring will come. The winter is here for the next two months but there are signs of life in the dead of it!
