A Thought from The Backyard

The longer I have the gardens in my backyard the more  I think of what Adam and Eve gave up.

The Long Island Cardinals

For years we have fed the birds in our backyard. I have a pair of cardinals who have become very friendly with me. The male will wait for me to bring the food out in the morning with 8 feet of where I am. Recently he has gotten even closer. This evening once again he saw me watering and since there was no seeds in the feeder or on the arm of the glider (his favorite spot) he waited. I went in, got some food and within a few seconds he and his mate were enjoying dinner as I finished watering.
